Echo Mackenzie on Art Basel, Design Miami

"Best location for a show... ever," says Echo Mackenzie.

Echo Mackenzie, vice president of marketing for Edelman Leather, loves a good show. Especially where art is concerned. That’s why she agreed to send us her top picks from the Art Basel and Design Miami fairs while touring both in Miami this past weekend.

Interestingly, Mackenzie noted that nearly every booth at the Art Basel fair was similar in look and design, right down to the white walls to show off the art. Very gallery-esque. Very unlike what interior shows are like.

And of the three booths she saw that actually had painted walls, she called them: “Stellar.”  I guess we know how she feels about that.
