Dror Benshetrit Todd Bracher

Mark GoetzAside from being super-talented furniture designers and having graced the pages of Interior Design magazine, what do Dror Benshetrit, Todd Bracher, and Mark Goetz have in common? On Thursday, March 24, they will join our articles editor, Annie Block, in a panel at the Museum of Arts and Design. During the discussion, called “After Class: The First Steps of the American Designer,” Annie will talk to the designers about internships they did, their studies abroad, their first jobs out of school, and why and how they decided to start their own studios—and give tips on how to do so successfully. A short Q&A session will follow the discussion, and then all three designers will be available to review students’ portfolios.

To support young designers in the making, Interior Design is offering a limited amount of tickets free for students. For a chance to win a ticket, send email to events@interiordesign.net. Put “Ticket to After Class at MAD” in the subject line and include the following information: name, school, degree program, and email address. Ten people will be randomly selected and notified on or before Friday, March 18.

Non-students and/or MAD members can buy tickets here.
