Amy Tan and Orlando Diaz-Azcuy are just two of the Bay Area-boldfacers set to attend the Interior Design-sponsored International Interior Design Association’s Northern California Chapter Leaders breakfast at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco September 16.
The best selling author of “The Joy Luck Club” will deliver a keynote address and Bay Area-based Interior Design Hall of Famer behind prominent projects like the Levi Strauss Company and United Bank of Denver’s headquarters will receive the organization’s Leadership Award of Excellence for his contributions in residential, commercial, furniture, and lighting design.
The event is open to the public and a slew of San Francisco’s top designers, contractors, developers, real estate brokers, and business leaders are expected to attend. Jack Solomon, the recently retired director of marketing at San Francisco office furniture dealer and project management firm Hogue & Associates, will also be honored with the chapter’s Distinguished Achievement Award, for his support of the interior design community, at the breakfast.
Those looking to attend can visit iida.org/content.cfm/san-francisco-leaders-breakfast to reserve a table or purchase individual tickets for $150 or by contacting Carmen O’Donnell at 888-799-4432 or codonnell@iida.org.
