The seventh installment in the yearly design extravaganza that is Design Miami will be jumping off November 30, and this year’s programming schedule is denser than ever before, chockablock with gallery exhibitors, special displays, and sponsored events.

Twenty-three high-profile design galleries will be presenting this year, doubling last year’s exhibiting galleries. The list includes such blue chip establishments as Paris’ Galerie kreo, Galerie VIVID of Rotterdam, and New York’s own moss and Demisch Danant.

The event’s luxury sponsors—among them Fendi, Audi, and Swarovski—will also be debuting new products during the fair.

The calendar for the five-day function is padded with additional programs, some of them marking their first appearance at Design Miami. Architect David Adjaye, winner of the Miami’s 2011 Designer of the Year Award, will be presenting a specimen of “giant architectural furniture,” a pavilion structure with built-in seating titled Genesis. W Magazine editor-in-chief Stefano Tonchi will be on hand to lead a series of on-stage dialogues with designers and architects, and the collaborative Dutch duo of artist Sebastian Neeb and designer Elisa Strozyk will unveil Craft Alchemy, billed as a “dreamlike installation.”

Yet another special attraction for the true design enthusiast will be taking place off-site: Buckminster Fuller‘s Dymaxion car, the engineering genie’s 1933 experimental vehicle reconstructed by architect Norman Foster, will be on view in the Miami Design District, part of a satellite exhibition running concurrently with the fair.

Design Miami runs from November 30 through December 3, in a new exhibition center adjacent to Art Basel Miami Beach in the Miami Beach Convention Center at Meridian Avenue & 19th Street in Miami Beach.
