Nendo Plays with Materials in Solo Show

Nendo unveils its solo exhibition, “Static Bubbles”,  at the Carpenters Workshop Gallery in Paris from January 21 to March 3. The Tokyo-based design firm will stay true to form, offering up various pieces that play with light and material. The decade-old firm, founded by Sato Oki, continuously pushes the boundaries of materials and process to produce results that are visually unexpected, even improbable. Yet this highly detailed designer never loses sight of the fact that each product should function in even the most ordinary environment.
