NeoCon exhibitors bring their best to Chicago, then eagerly await the verdict of attendees. But Shaw Contract Group’s new 18X36 carpet tiles (so named for their novel measurement) arrive at the Mart a bona fide hit. Over two balmy March days in Atlanta, the flooring giant unveiled the new collection’s 17 possible configurations for nine naturally opinionated designers. Their mission: help Shaw pick the final four. Blow-by-blow dissections culminated in a secret ballot of sorts, which shaped the ultimate lineup—Fade, Overlay, Laser Cut, and Blur. Winners are produced in earth-friendly Eco Solution Q nylon on EcoWorx tile backing.
