Iconic Chair Designs Get a Makeover for Charity

Ten well-known artists took a stab at reinterpreting iconic chair designs for an auction to  raise funds for three non-profit art institutions: Locust Projects, LAX Art and The Kitchen.  Shown at the Shelborne Hotel during Art Basel Miami Beach in December, the Chair Project show was the brainchild of design team Robert and Cortney Novogratz who enlisted The Kitchen’s Debra Singer and Tim Griffin to curate the two-day exhibit.
