SieMatic Donates Kitchens to Harvard Cookie Girl School

“Enriching young minds through healthy eating, one small tummy at a time,” is the motto of Bibi Kasrai, the founder and CEO of the Harvard Cookie Girl, a San Diego-based company that aims to teach children how to prepare healthy snacks after school gets out.
It’s a goal that German kitchen impresarios over at SieMatic second—the designer and manufacturer just donated three of its sought-after kitchens to the first Harvard Cookie School, a 1,400-square-foot store front space in La Jolla, California.

“SieMatic supports the Harvard Cookie Girl curriculum,” says Hans Henkes, SieMatic’s general manager of marketing and sales. “We are thrilled to provide a platform for modifying children’s eating habits by engaging them in a hands-on program that makes cooking fun.”
“SieMatic is the ideal partner for us,” adds Kasrai. “[Their] look is clean and modern, yet comfortable and accessible.” Green too–SieMatic’s eco-friendly manufacturing process is part of the company’s mandate convert all waste to energy. “We place strong emphasis on green living and building practices and SieMatic is a key component of our efforts,” says Kasrai.
