Over forty years after Giuseppe Dolfo founded it in Treviso, Italy, GD Cucine is coming to the U.S.
The Italian manufacturer of kitchen systems recently set up shop in New York in an 8,000-square-foot store and showroom. Located at 227 West 17th Street, the two-level space is part of an expansion by the company, a family affair that is now run by under the direction of Dolfo’s sons, Gianmaria and Giampiero.
Interior designer Simone Biscontin, who heads up GD Cucine’s design department, currently has the company’s contemporary kitchens, dubbed Argento Vivo, Fiamma, Velvet, and Treviso, on display in the showroom but will soon be adding more classic styles as well as bathroom systems to the ground floor of the space.
