The Merchandise Mart’s LuxeHome boasts 30 kitchen and bath boutiques, but surprisingly no appliance showroom—until now. High-end appliance brands Sub-Zero and Wolf have just opened up shop at The Mart in a 5,500-square-foot space, where visitors can consult on everything from built-in refrigerators to outdoor grills. This is, however, anything but a typical appliance showcase.

“The Sub-Zero and Wolf showroom is unlike any other boutique at LuxeHome,” said Mart vice president Katherine Flaherty. “Not only will you find their cutting-edge appliances in beautiful and creatively designed displays, but also a full-time chef, regular tasting events, and working appliances.”

While it’s rare for a showroom to have working appliances, this state-of-the-art facility does indeed feature live electric wall ovens, ranges, a warming drawer, steamer, induction cooktops, and more, making this a consumer friendly, try-before-you-buy boutique for homeowners and trade professionals alike. At the heart of the showroom, a prep kitchen area that can accommodate up 30 guests, will host cooking demonstrations and tastings.

“We are really pleased to be a part of LuxeHome,” said Sub-Zero and Wolf president and CEO James Bakke. “The Merchandise Mart and our companies have a common dedication to providing the best service and products to our customers.”

The showroom is located in suite 134.
