FLOS and Surface Magazine for Fashion’s Night Out

New York’s Spring 2012 Fashion Week is upon us, and the design world is abuzz with events for the third installation of Fashion’s Night Out to usher in the semi-annual, couture institution. Amidst the nationwide events on the opening night of the Lincoln Center affair, renowned Italian lighting design company, FLOS, and sister design publication, Surface magazine, have banded together to showcase design parallels between fashion and furnishings.

Dubbed “A New Light,” the two will collaborate on an evening of sartorial illumination with award-winning womenswear designer Wayne at the FLOS SoHo showroom, located at 152 Greene Street at Houston Street. The evening guarantees a one-of-a-kind display of Wayne’s runway collection mixed with FLOS’ contemporary lighting pieces.
